The 2026 Carbon Reduction & Inclusion Day was successfully held on Saturday, January 10, at the Lang Shining Hall, Guoxi Building, Fu Jen Catholic University, and concluded on a high note
On the day of the event, Dean Huang and Vice Dean Fan attended in person to deliver opening remarks, joined by several department chairs in showing their support. Their presence underscored the College’s strong commitment to sustainable development and net-zero action.
Centered on the theme “Starting from Campus, Moving Toward a Net-Zero Future,” the event featured a Sustainability Declaration Signing Ceremony, interactive themed exhibition booths, and a faculty–student pledge relay. These activities translated carbon reduction from policy and abstract concepts into practical actions embedded in everyday life.
Through immersive, scenario-based design and hands-on experiences, participants were encouraged to rethink their personal choices, consumption behaviors, and decision-making, gaining a clear sense that carbon reduction can begin with daily living.
Special thanks go to the enthusiastic students, Director Kuo from the social enterprise sector, and all faculty members and colleagues involved in planning and execution. Thanks to everyone’s dedication and collaboration, “inclusion” and “sustainability” were not merely slogans, but actions that were truly seen and put into practice.
Looking ahead, the College of Management will continue to deepen interdisciplinary teaching, action-based learning, and public engagement, working hand in hand with on- and off-campus partners to advance a sustainable campus and a net-zero future.
