Jingle all the way! FJCU Kindergarten shares Christmas spirit on campus

(Provided by FJCU Kindergarten) Every December, the campus of Fu Jen Catholic University is imbued with a festive Christmas atmosphere. During the week of Christmas, the children from FJCU Kindergarten dress up in adorable outfits to sing carols all around the campus and spread Christmas joy; in doing so, they make sure not to forget the President’s office, so that they can sing for “Uncle Chiang” in person, a tradition that has been going on for the entire 12 years of President Chiang’s tenure. This year, on the morning of December 21st, the kindergarten’s Kangaroo class delighted the entire office with Christmas songs while President Chiang joyfully watched, after which he shared with them the story of Christmas. FJCU Kindergarten would like to express its gratitude to President Chiang for his continuous support over the years, including his personal contribution this year to enhance its equipment and educational quality. As a token of appreciation and to wish him a Merry Christmas, FJCU Kindergarten presented President Chiang with a desk calendar featuring photos from the past 12 years of Christmas caroling. Aside from the President’s office, the children also visited various other on-campus locations and departments to spread their cheerful message. The Deer class brought their joyous news to the Department of Child and Family Studies and the College of Human Ecology, their cuteness filling everyone with happiness. The Penguin class sang and danced in front of the Food Science Ice Cream Shop, the Local Innovation Promotion Center, and the Fr. Schütte Building, receiving much applause. The Sheep class, participating for the first time, confidently spread Christmas cheer at the Cardinal Tien Memorial Building and the Fr. Franz Giet Building. The Hippo class visited the Cardinal Shan Building and particularly enjoyed their time at the Immaculate Conception Chapel, where they also got to tour the second floor to take in the Christmas spirit. Lastly, the Kangaroo class expressed its sincere thanks and blessings to the hardworking administrative staff at the Cardinal Yu Pin Building.
