4+1 Bridge Program Collaboration with Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT at Dallas
College of Management at Fu Jen Catholic University signed the 4+1 Bridge Program collaboration with the Naveen Jindal School of Management, the University of Texas at Dallas on April 27th, 2023.
After attending the AACSB 2023 ICAM annual conference, Dean Bruce Lee and Associate Dean Huang visited Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) at University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas). JSOM is an AACSB-accredited university and is one of the best business schools in the US.
In addition to a warm reception by JSOM Dean Dr. Hassan Pirkul and Vice Dean Dr. Varghese Jacob, the two business schools exchanged experience in operation, development, and international exchange plans. More importantly, the 4+1 Bridge Program was signed by UT Dallas Vice President of Academic Affairs-Dr. Inga H Musselman and Dean Bruce Le. The collaboration provides opportunities for students to pursue MS in Business Analytics and MS in International Management Studies. We are excited to recruit students this June.
The 4+1 Bridge Program provide another pathway for undergraduate students to gain their master’s degree in the US. Through collaborations with prestigious partner universities in the US, students spend 4+1 years to complete their Bachelor’s Degree from Fu Jen and their Master’s Degree from the partner universities. The participating students in any bridge program will have to study advanced master-level courses in the 4th year of college study and after they meet the admission requirements from the partner universities, they will be able to attend the master’s program in the 5th year to complete the rest required courses and gain their master’s degree. Up to date, the partner universities in the 4+1 Bridge Program are Loyola Marymount University, Claremont Graduate University, University of Michigan-Flint, University of Dallas, University of Scranton, Oklahoma City University, and University of Texas at Dallas. On May 17th afternoon, the College of Management will hold a promotion seminar for recruitment.
The College of Management at Fu Jen Catholic University has been dedicated to extending international collaboration plans. So that the students can have more diversified opportunities to continue their advanced business education. We appreciate all the alumni’s contributions to the collaboration between the two universities.
