I. Purpose<\/b><\/strong>
\nThis competition encourages international students to draw upon their academic and daily life experiences in Taiwan, transforming their learning journeys, cross-cultural interactions, and everyday moments into creative and story-driven short video productions. Selected outstanding works will be featured on the official event website and social media platforms. Through the diverse cultural perspectives of international students, the competition aims to showcase Taiwan and its internationally oriented campuses, enhance the global visibility of Taiwan\u2019s higher education, and further promote studying in Taiwan as a preferred destination.

II. Organizers<\/b><\/h3>\n

Fu Jen Catholic University, Providence University, and Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages.<\/p>\n

III. Theme<\/strong>
\n<\/b>The theme of this competition is \u201cLearning in Taiwan, A Wonderful Life.\u201d
\nContent may include campus life, cultural observations, learning experiences, city scenery, or other related topics. Any creative format is acceptable, such as narration, drama, interviews, documentaries, or other innovative approaches.All submissions should reflect positive valuesandeducational significance.<\/p>\n

IV. Eligibility<\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

1. International students, including degree students, dual-degree students, exchange students, Mandarin learners, and international language assistants.
\n<\/span>2. Participants may join individually or as a team. Each team may have up to two members.<\/p>\n

V. Awards and Evaluation<\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

1. A panel of scholars and experts from relevant fields will be invited by the organizers to evaluate the submissions.
\n2. Scoring Criteria
\nVisual Creativity, Script Content, Technical Performance (filming, editing, sound, subtitles, etc.), Relevance to Theme, Emotional Impact and Influence

VI. Application: Online<\/strong>
\n<\/b>Please complete the online\u00a0Application Form<\/a>\u00a0and upload the following files to your personal cloud storage. Then provide the download link to the organizer.<\/p>\n

1.Video: file name \u201cShort Video Competition-Video Title-School Name-Participant Name.\u201d
\n2. Required Documents: Please download\u00a0Attachment I<\/u>\u00a0(Statement and Authorization Letter) and\u00a0Attachment II<\/u>\u00a0(Portrait Rights Consent Form). Complete and sign the hard copies, then upload the scanned files (PDF format only).

\nVII. Submission Requirements<\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

1.Video length:20 to 60 seconds; vertical format (9:16).
\n2. Video format: MP4 or MOV; resolution HD or 1080p and above.
\n3. Audio: any language is acceptable;the video must include at least English subtitles.
\n4. All images and music used must be original or legally authorized.
\n5. Works that have previously won awards or been commercially released may not be submitted to this competition.<\/p>\n

VIII. Submission Period<\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0March 10, 2026 ~ April 25, 2026, 23:59.
\n2. Entries with incomplete information or violations of requirements will have their eligibility revoked if corrections are not made by the specified deadline after notification.<\/p>\n
