{"id":1465,"date":"2024-12-18T10:08:31","date_gmt":"2024-12-18T02:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.im.fju.edu.tw\/english\/?p=1465"},"modified":"2025-09-24T10:12:59","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T02:12:59","slug":"academics-year-end-college-wide-faculty-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.im.fju.edu.tw\/english\/2024\/12\/18\/academics-year-end-college-wide-faculty-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"[Academics] Year-End College-wide Faculty Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of each fall semester, the College of Management holds a &#8220;College-wide Faculty Symposium,&#8221; bringing nearly 100 faculty members together in the Lang Shih-Ning Hall of Guo-Xi Building to focus on education.<\/p>\n<div class=\"min-h-8 text-message flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 whitespace-normal break-words text-start [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5\" dir=\"auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"74e7d8e8-f42d-4efe-8a97-571929fe6c71\" data-message-model-slug=\"gpt-4o\">\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p>The event begins with blessings from Father Joseph Hsu of the Jesuit Pastoral Office, followed by Dean Mei-Chu Huang\u2019s report on the college\u2019s progress and future plans, as well as Associate Dean Hsiao-Yun Huang\u2019s updates on AACSB continuous accreditation efforts.<\/p>\n<p>In the 113th academic year, faculty and students from the College of Management received numerous prestigious awards. Academic medals and certificates were presented to the awardees during the symposium. Professors Wei-Peng Tsai from the Department of Finance and International Business and Hsing-Chen Tsai from the Department of Information Management, who are retiring soon, were honored with tokens of appreciation from Dean Mei-Chu Huang.<\/p>\n<p>This year, exemplary teachers, including Professor Kai-Bin Huang from the Department of Business Administration and Professor Jui-Ching Lin from the Department of Accounting, shared their teaching methodologies through video introductions by Directors Yi-Cheng Ku and Yen-Ting Lin.
